Fluency: Given my extensive voice background with a focus on counseling for speech and voice, I love to work with people who stutter to develop confidence, awareness, and acceptance around disfluency. I defer to communities and practitioners of people who stutter for navigating this process.

Why should I choose Kapila Voice?

In lay terms, I walk the walk and I talk the talk. I present, publish, and educate others on holistic, intersectional voice care, and I practice what I teach. I also invite and expect critique from clients and students I see to improve my services with them on a regular basis. I make the time so you do not feel rushed in or out. You will not feel like you are “competing” for my time or attention. My services are made “custom order” - the best analogy is “haute couture” versus getting a budget option that involves “tips and tricks” that may not land with you. There are other fantastic providers, and with my extensive network, I am more than happy to refer out as well if we aren’t the right fit or you need a different specialty. I am also proud to offer pro bono, scholarship-based, and sliding-scale work in my business model.
